new temporary small group

well, unfortunately today was pretty much the most boring day we've had yet.
first of all, i woke up at 6:15, went to brekky, packed my bagged lunch, then headed to the clinic to get my check up (which meant a drug test- that i almost didn't pass because i didn't have to go... a tetanus shot- that has my arm killing me now, and a tb test- which i got a few months ago but they wanted to be safe and give me another one...), then i came back to get sized for my boots (the man who measured my foot took the boot after i tried it on and told me i was done and could go so i did and didn't find out until the boot men had left that he was supposed to give me the boots but he didn't... so now on monday i have to go through the process again of getting boots) and then i spent literally more than five hours sitting in a chair listening to people talk about rules. it was pretty bad. after that though we got sorted into our new temporary groups. we only had about two minutes together because our tl wanted to see a game that was about to start so we split up. we'll start hanging out on monday so hopefully we'll all get along as well as my first group.
that was it for my boring day!
now my roommate and some friends and i are going out tonight. the tl's take us into town and we get a couple of hours to walk around so i'm very much looking forward to that! i just thought i'd update my blog before i left! so, for now i'm off!
